Volcano Rabbit – the second smallest rabbit in the world that resides in the mountains of Mexico. It is considered highly active in the evening, morning, and all hours in between ~ much like the Volcano Rabbit Bar + Restaurant location in the Gaslamp District of San Diego.
I had been hearing great things about the nightlife at this new addition to Downtown since they opened in early February and decided I had to stop in when I heard they were serving brunch. With a $25 all you can eat brunch buffet & $20 Bottomless Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s, it is an ideal scene for the all day, day-drinkers.
With a dog friendly patio out front, bar seating inside, and a lounge area, the restaurant is very open and
inviting. It gave off a younger vibe and reminded me of my college years with brunch, bottomless cocktails, and late 90’s/early 2000’s top hits playing with music videos on the surrounding T.V.’s (the days when MTV played music videos- the good ol days).
